Bill and Hug

Bill and Hug: A Dragon's Tale, is a children's book about two dragon's who are hard of hearing. Julianne wrote the book for her two children, and after it was illustrated by another family member, she felt it needed to be shared.

Being hard of hearing can be full of many challenges. These can include adapting to a hearing world in ways many of us take for granted. Learning to advocate for yourself by explaining these challenges is probably one of the biggest things any child with hearing loss will ever do; and parents new to hearing loss are learning this world themselves.

Bill and Hug is about empowering children/young people who wear hearing aids, and their families, to educate their hearing peers on the challenges they may face everyday while learning.
